TRITON YEARBOOK GARNERS ALL COLUMBIAN HONORS & GOLD MEDALIST AWARD
CSPA Triton Gold Medalist 2016-17
On Thanksgiving Day, the Columbia Scholastic Press Association granted a CSPA Gold Medalist award and All-Columbian honors in writing to the Palos Verdes High School Triton Yearbook 2017. This is the first year that the yearbook has been recognized with All-Columbian honors.

From the CSPA critique reviewer, “This is one impressive yearbook and very unusual for a high school publication. It is not easy to produce a volume of this size that still offers a glimpse into all that your community offers. A reader gleans the diversity, the pride, the acceptance and the overall optimism of the school through the photos and the storytelling. It is not easy to blend the desires of the community and the demands of the expectations of competitive publications, but you have done it! Credit to all the work of the people on the spreads. It was a pleasure to read your yearbook!”

Congratulations to the 2017 Triton Yearbook staff and families. Go Sea Kings!

TRITON YEARBOOK RECEIVES TOP ACCOLADES AT JEA REVIEW
The Triton Yearbook at JEA

PVHS Triton Yearbook was praised for “Make Some Noise” by JEA/NSPA reviewer Mary Kay Downes. “I know I am supposed to be giving you advice and a critique, but to tell you the truth, your publication is doing all the right things. There is little I can say. I just want to take the time to enjoy all of it. What a wonderful job of coverage and artistry. The theme is carried throughout the book and even though this is a big school, the way you treat the book, it feels personal, like a small school. That is impressive! The design, the writing, the infographics. All of it - original and innovative. Your school leads the way for others. Great job, all of you!” Well, that’s our review! Congratulations to our 2017 Triton Yearbook staff. Go Sea Kings!
