Services from the College and Career Center and the Naviance program will also be reviewed. Counselors will discuss in depth the College application process, including types of admission options, eligibility index vs. committee selection, and parts of the application folder. Finally, counselors will also briefly cover other program information such as NCAA requirements, essays and personal statements, and College visits.

Senior

The PVHS counselors have put together a virtual senior parent presentation for you. Please take some time to watch the recorded lesson that covers important information including the college application process, how to support your child in the admissions process, how they can request letters of recommendation and the impacts of COVID 19 on college admissions. We have also created and included a senior parent checklist that serves as a guide to aid in supporting your child through this process. Please encourage your child to join their counselors google classroom so they can access the information and materials they need to navigate this process virtually.

We look forward to connecting with your child throughout this process! Please don't hesitate to reach out to your counselor directly should you have any additional questions!
