College Rep Visits in the CCC

September - November 2026 

We are so fortunate to have many fantastic schools visit Palos Verdes High School each year. College Rep visits are open to students in the Class of 2027 and 2028. Rep Visits are designed for students to get a better understanding of a school and provide a fantastic opportunity for our Sea Kings to meet admission officers. Juniors and Seniors - do not miss your opportunity! Rep visits will run from September 8, 2026 - November 10, 2026. 

To view the list of colleges visiting PVHS please go to our PVHS Activities Calendar or log into Maia Learning. Please note you MUST sign up to attend a Rep Visit 2 days prior to the event on Maia Learning. Teacher permission must be given for you to attend. Please ask your teachers at least 24 hours in advance of the visit you have signed up to attend. 

• Log into your Maia Learning account
• Go to the Events Tab - select "Visits"
• Find the desired visit you want to attend 
• Click "Attend" or "View" under the "Actions" column to sign up
• Get your teacher permission slip signed and put your visit in your calendar 
• If you can't attend a visit, you must inform the CCC by canceling your visit on Maia Learning or telling Mrs. Nelson. Advance notice is needed if you book a space and no longer can use it.

• Teacher permission is necessary to attend a Rep Visit and miss class
• Pick up a Rep Visit Slip in the CCC and fill it out
• Take the slip to your teacher to ask them  for permission to miss class to attend. Please ask at least 24 hours in advance. 
• Have your teacher sign the slip  to give you permission
• Bring the slip with you - this is your ticket in the door for the visit. 
• Once the visit is over, Mrs Nelson will sign your slip and you will bring it back to your teacher to validate that you were in the visit. 

• Students must first go to class to check in for attendance in the period BEFORE arriving at the CCC for the visit

• Attending a Rep Visit doesn't excuse you from your required work, tests or quizzes. Students - plan ahead and discuss with your teachers alternative plans if needed
