On Tuesday, April 23 the Triton Yearbook submitted the final Sweet Sixteen deadline to the publishers for printing and then sent a dozen leaders to the JEA/NSPA Spring National High School Journalism Convention in Anaheim from Wednesday, April 24 through Sunday, April 28. Teams met with professionals in the industry, attended workshops in writing, design, photography and leadership and participated in Write Off competitions. The group joined adviser Ms. Pavelka and represented Palos Verdes High School amid several thousand student journalists from yearbook, newspaper and broadcast news programs across the country.
