Britney’s passion for dance started in middle school when she joined the competitive dance team at Fusion Studios in Torrance, CA. Through Fusion’s competitive team she began training in jazz, ballet, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, and tap. As a member of the South High Dance team she further trained in those styles, competed in regional and national competitions and had the opportunity to choreograph pieces for the team’s annual shows. She was also a part of the South High Varsity Drill Team for two years in which she competed in the military, kick, pom, and character divisions at USA Dance regional and national competitions as well as performed at school football and basketball games. As a college freshman Britney was a member of the CSUDH Dance Team and joined the CSUDH dance department her sophomore year. In the CSUDH dance department she began to learn modern dance techniques along with elements of Latin and African dance. As a Dance major she had the opportunity to choreograph a Senior piece in the 2022 Spring Dance Concert, and also choreographed as a part of Mosaic Dance Company at CSUDH. In 2023, Britney had the opportunity to showcase her choreography in the American College Dance Association adjudication for the Baja California region at the University of California, Irvine.
She currently directs the Palos Verdes High School dance program in which she trains the Choreo Dance Team, Intermediate Dance, as well as teaches PE Dance, and PE Yoga. Britney has also been an instructor for Regina Klenjoski Dance Company for 2 years, teaching children ages 3-17 a variety of dance genres that include jazz, contemporary, ballet, tap, and hip hop.
