Scheduling for Current PVPUSD 8th Graders
The incoming PVHS Freshmen Parent Presentation will be held on March 14, 2024 at 5:30PM
The first part of the evening is a presentation in the MPR introducing the PVHS administration, Activities Director, Athletic Director, College & Career Center staff, and our PTSA and Booster Club members. Following this is a presentation by your student's counselor covering information regarding the scheduling process, special program offerings at PVHS, how to get involved on campus and more.
If you are unable to join us on March 14, please review the presentation here and look below for the resources that were provided at the evening program.
Counselors will be holding Orientations with our incoming 9th grade students from within our district during the week of March 18, 2024, and will be organized through their current PVPUSD Intermediate School. During these orientations, 8th grade students will receive their course recommendations for 9th grade, the 2024-2025 Educational Planning Guide, and the 2024-2025 Course Description Handbook.

The Aeries scheduling window will be open to students and families to log in and select classes for the 2024-2025 5school year from March 25 through April 14, 2024. The information presented at the parent and student presentations, along with current teacher recommendations, will assist your family in making these course selections. During the week of April 15, your student will have an individual meeting with their school counselor during a designated class period. This will give your student an opportunity to meet their high school counselor, review their course selections, and ask any additional questions. Individual student scheduling meetings will be scheduled as follows:
PVDLA: April 15 (virtual)
RIS: April 16
MIS: April 17
PVIS: April 18
