Four-Year Planning and Course Scheduling

Each year, counselors meet with students to review their course requests for the next school year. Included in this process is four-year planning which comprises of discussing with the student their post-secondary goals and tailoring course requests to meet these goals. Four-year plans are flexible and can be adjusted based on the student's goal at any given time. Four-year planning helps create a high school schedule that meets high school graduation requirements and college entrance eligibility requirements by breaking down courses needing to be taken into respective grades and met with achievable goals. You may reference a sample blank four year plan with both high school graduation and college entrance (A-G) requirements below.
