The NSPA critique judge stated, “Congratulations on an extraordinary publication! This is a body of work that obviously is the product of hard work as it includes as much student voice as possible. The thematic development and concept of this book are superb and flawless. Thank you for teaching me so much about your school and about collaborative student professionalism. I was pulled into the many profiles and coverage of so many unique events, organizations and clubs. The sports photography is some of the best I have ever seen. Great leads are hard to write. This book consistently started stories with attention grabbing leads. Copy went well below the surface when telling stories. All five senses (and I'm including the smell of ink and glue!) are experienced by the reader in this book. This book does an outstanding job of moving the visual and verbals elements through a really comprehensive book. Again, so exciting--the reader is surprised and excited at every turn, BUT you guys still consistently deliver those subtle verbal elements throughout the book. Amazing!”
