PVP CHAMBER OF COMMERCE TEEN ENTREPRENEURS PROGRAM INFORMAITON SESSION will take place on Tuesday, January 16th @ lunch (12:45 to 1:15pm) in the College and Career Center, Room 318.
This is an experiential (learning by doing) program where students learn about business by actually developing and launching a real business. Students will learn about all aspects of starting and running a business, including: developing and vetting a business idea; analyzing the market and competition; developing a marketing plan, plus advertising and distribution strategy; developing financial projections; and learning about intellectual property (patents & trademarks), taxes, legal considerations of running a business, permits & licenses, financial record keeping, and more. Students will have the opportunity to pitch their business concept to a panel of judges AND also to sell their product at the PV Street Fair!
