The athletic programs at Palos Verdes High School are education-based athletic programs that provide our students with rigorous high school athletic experiences under the rules and guidelines of the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF). During the course of the school year conflict or disagreements may arise between players, coaches, and parents. While meetings will not be held to discuss matters of playing time or position placement, it is okay for those conversations to take place between player and coach directly. In a sincere attempt to reconcile any disagreements or conflict, conversations should begin directly with a coach and only move forward once those attempts have been made. The order of discussion should be:
  • Position Player/Lower Level Coach
  • Head Coach
  • Athletic Director
  • Associate Principal
  • Principal
