The State of California assesses schools by asking 11th-grade students to take standardized tests in Science, English, and Math. A school's scores on these tests are the biggest factors determining a school's ranking, which colleges look at when they look at when they are consider students for admission. 

 

Thus, a strong performance on the SBAC ELA and Math and the CAST is absolutely pivotal in keeping our California school ranking strong and for giving our students the best chance to get into the top colleges.
