Tips for Future NAIA Student-Athletes
Start early
• Monitor your cumulative GPA
• College coaches look for initiative – an early eligibility decision sets students apart
• Coaches cannot add students to their recruit list until they have a registered account

Get added to an NAIA school’s short list
• Short list = recruit list
• Students should provide their ECID# to their NAIA coach to be added to their short list
• Coaches can monitor their eligibility progress and decision

Add 9876 now when taking the SAT/ACT
• Saves $$ so students don’t have to pay to send scores later

Monitor PlayNAIA profile
• Students should check their profile for updates 1-2 times per week until they receive
their decision
